United States Patents make sense and are a necessity to ensure continued innovation in some fields such as medical research and development. In software, however, they are simply broken and ironically hamper innovation. 2 years 5 months ago

United States I believe the patent system is inherently broke and being abused in its current form. I urge Congress to enact reforms on the patent system that allow and foster creativity. Too many patents are being allowed through that just don't belong and are crippling the innovations our country relies on. 2 years 5 months ago

United States Many groups are abusing the patient system and attacks anyone with or without merit. This extremely limits the innovation by smaller groups an individuals because of the fear of legal disputes. 2 years 5 months ago

United Kingdom Defending one's products/inventions is never a bad thing. Inhibiting the creativity of other producers (be that inventors, media creators, engineers etc) to produce something SIMILAR to a patented product is backwards and only prevents the advancement of technology at the rate it could be. Reform patents to make them fair for all. 2 years 5 months ago
